Wishing to express gratitude to doctors and other medical workers who are fighting Covid-19 infection, “Nākotnes Atbalsta fonds” (Future Supporting Fund) has given the leading Latvian hospitals invitations to the performance of the “Golden Mask” international theatre festival.

Shina, Chairperson of the Board of “Nākotnes Atbalsta fonds”: “We want to thank
all the doctors and other medics who are now literally “on the front line”, and
to give them an opportunity to break out of their daily pressure and worries,
relax and enjoy art”.
“Nākotnes Atbalsta fonds”, a charity foundation established by Rietumu Bank, has been co-operating with the “Golden Mask” festival for 16 consecutive years. The festival introduces Latvian spectators with the most vivid and original performances of the best Russian theatres.
For more than a year, the Covid-19 pandemic demands enormous strength from medical personnel around the world, so “Nākotnes Atbalsta fonds” (Future Supporting Fund) would like to thank those Latvian medical workers who daily look after Covid-19 patients, and to provide them an opportunity to travel to the music world with internationally recognised opera stars.
