Member of the Board of Rietumu Bank Jelena Buraja is included in the most successful Latvian businesswomen TOP 100 by Forbes magazine.
The rating, created by original Forbes methodology, was published in August month’s issue of Latvian magazine edition.
It includes female co-owners and top managers of the largest Latvian enterprises, and is based on the analysis of the most significant criteria such as turnover, profit, investments in development, creation of products with high added value, reputation etc.
These are representatives of various industries: medicine, oil and gas business, banking, wholesale and retail trade, technology, processing and food industries, communications, publishing etc.
Alongside with Jelena Buraja, the financial industry in the Forbes TOP
100 is represented by ladies who hold executive positions in the largest
Latvian banks with foreign capital – Swedbank and SEB Banka.
Jelena Buraja joined Rietumu Bank team at 2007. Since 2016 she has been a member of the Management Board. Currently she is in charge of the bank's activities in the field of corporate finance and investments, legal affairs, as well as work of a number of enterprises of Rietumu.
This is to inform that Chairman of the Board of Rietumu Bank Rolf Fuls starting 2 August steps down from his position in the bank to be concentrating on the projects outside the bank.
