In order to open a current account, you will need to sign and submit the following documents:
The documents can be signed in person or remotely, using the Bank’s electronic signature or a qualified electronic signature and sending the documents by email to [email protected]. Please note that during the account opening process, we may ask you to provide additional information or documents. Upon conclusion of the Agreement, Rietumu Banka identifies the User in accordance with the requirements of the laws and regulations of the Republic of Latvia and the European Union, as well as the Bank’s internal documents.
You can become a customer of Rietumu by visiting the central office of the Bank. Our specialists are always glad to see you at 7 Vesetas street in Riga.
If you cannot visit the bank in person to sign an Electronic Signature Agreement, you can sign the agreement and a copy of your identity document using the Latvian Qualified Electronic Signature (eParakts) and send them to the bank in the encrypted file.
If you cannot visit the bank in person to sign an Electronic Signature Agreement, you can sign an Electronic Signature Agreement and certify your signature and a copy of your identity document by a notary.
If you cannot visit the bank in person to sign an Electronic Signature Agreement, you can receive a qualified electronic signature through the videoidentification procedure (in English).
