Application User Data Privacy Statement of JSC “Rietumu Banka” (hereafter – the Bank) describes the categories of data, which are processed to provide online and mobile banking application iRietumu for Android /iRietumu HD for iOs (Mobile Banking), as well as a mobile city guide RietumuGuide and an interactive mobile application ecom21 Forum for participants of the international online business conference eCom21 (hereafter – all together referred as the Service).

To ensure the Service, fulfil operational and technical requirements, perform the contractual obligations, comply with applicable regulations, as well as meet its legitimate interests, the Bank, acting as a controller of personal data, processes certain categories of Users’ personal data (i.e. any information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person), and other data. Rietumu HD/iRietumu

Your identification number Rietumu ID and one-time password (OTP)/test-key are processed to authenticate the User and authorize the transactions. The Bank processes User transaction details and correspondence to ensure the banking services. To set up the Mobile DigiPass software, the camera can be activated. In order to ensure the smooth operation and security of the Mobile Banking, the application uses device time and date data, operating system data, and maintains log records.

RietumuGuide

RietumuGuide processes geo-location data provided that you activate GPS function (thus giving the permission for processing of the geo-location data) to mark sightseeing places, catering establishments, culture and recreational facilities on the go. The application automatically shows the nearest spots on the third-party map integrated with the application; therefore, when you use our app, third parties might receive the information hereto and process it according to their own processing policies.

To ensure operation of the Service and enhance its functionality, IP address and cookies are used. Within the Mobile Banking, IP address is processed to mitigate security risks.

The Bank takes all the appropriate measures to safeguard the security of the Service and all operations related to the Service; therefore, all the User data is transmitted securely using modern cryptography.

The Bank stores the data collected from the User in accordance with either regulatory requirements or legitimate interests of the Bank.

The Bank is entitled to amend the Application User Data Privacy Statement; the User is obliged to check it in order to get acquainted with its latest and up-to-date edition.

Additional information for Rietumu HD/iRietumu users

The Mobile DigiPass installed on a compatible mobile device can be configured by the Client to operate in the “Push Notifications” mode, within the framework of which the mobile device with Mobile DigiPass installed on it can automatically receive Client authentication confirmation requests when entering the Internet bank, as well as requests for authorization of Orders submitted via the Internet bank. The Client can confirm or reject a request to the mobile device by selecting the appropriate option in the Mobile DigiPass interface. Upon successful confirmation of the request, the Mobile DigiPass automatically generates and sends to the Bank the OTP or the Test Key necessary for entering the Internet bank or authorization of Orders.

By activating the Mobile DigiPass feature "Push Notifications" the user agrees that information regarding the currency, the amount of payment and the receiving bank, contained in the request, may be accessed by the persons who ensure the operation of Apple push notification service and Firebase Cloud Messaging. Data recipients may be located outside the European Union, in countries that do not provide the level of information protection equivalent to the European Union, wherefore the user may not be able to exercise his rights related to data protection.
