The Bank considers a medium-sized company to be one with turnover and/or total assets, according to the company’s financial statements, in excess of EUR 5 million and/or employing more than 10 employees on a permanent basis. Given the amount of the Bank’s capital, we can engage in transactions that involve significant financing amounts.
Rietumu Banka primarily provides its services in Latvia, but we are also ready to provide our expertise to companies from other Baltic countries and countries of the European Economic Area.
If a client has an appropriate EU operating licence, Rietumu Banka will cooperate with payment and investment service providers, offering its own practical experience accumulated over many years as well as the necessary products and services.

As the development of military industry has become a strategic priority for Latvia, the European Union and NATO, a prerequisite for security of our society and for a secure future, Rietumu Banka cooperates with persons whose economic activity is related to the manufacture and distribution of military products (weapons, munitions, vehicles and possibly other products for military needs) and related activities. Such cooperation is limited in scope and subject to specific precautionary measures. For example, it is mandatory for the person to be duly licensed in EU countries and be part of a publicly known group of companies with a good reputation.
