Classic Brokerage

You fully independently make your own decisions about all investment-related issues, namely: to buy or sell „what”, „when”, „how much” and „at what price”.

If you need additional information for your decision we will certainly assist you in obtaining it if we can.

In this case we execute your orders to buy/sell certain financial instruments as we have received them. It means that we do not offer our opinion on any given market sector. What we do is execute your orders as best we can.

Trading terms

Rietumu Banka offers 2 basic types of fees for trading – Fee Per Trade and Fee Per Share. By choosing one of these options you will be able to efficiently plan your costs whatever your investment strategy is.

In addition to that an investor pays a monthly fee for trading platform license, extra services, access to stock markets and electronic routing (ECN Fees).

An investor can open short positions based on the list of stocks available for such transactions, which is updated on daily basis (see the Easy To Borrow List). In which case a security deposit in an amount equal to 100% of the amount of the open short position is required.

Rietumu Banka covers technology fees that are charged for stock market software per each trade, as well as fees established by the US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC Fee) and the largest stock market (NASD Fee).

Access to a trading platform can be terminated at the request of an investor by 1 month prior written notice to the Bank.

Attention! We strongly recommend against simultaneously accessing one of the following trading platforms: Rietumu Trader, Rietumu Trade Craft, Rietumu Trade Apprentice and Rietumu Trade Lodge. Registration of deals and open positions is not synchronized in real time between the Trader, Craft, Apprentice group of platforms and the Trade Lodge Platform, revaluation of positions is performed after the close of the trading session. Therefore, it is possible that orders and trades may get duplicated, which may lead to risk of losses or other damage.
