Internet Banking
Customer of Rietumu Bank has following remote banking tools to securely access accounts via Internet.
Limited Access Mode (iRietumu system at https://i.rietumu.lv):
The limited access mode is available to all customers of Rietumu without extra registration at no extra cost.
- On-line card and account transaction overview;
- On-line account and card statements;
- Term deposit portfolio overview;
- Loans overview;
- Funds transfers within your own accounts;
- Foreign Currency Exchange;
- Investment portfolio overview: NAV (Net Asset Value), available financing and cash;
- Notifications on key account events;
- Transaction data export to CSV, XML (FidaVista), PDF
- Optional extra security feature;
- Secure on-line messaging with personal banker and various bank departments.
Limited access mode is available on the web at
https://i.rietumu.lv as well as free application for the iPhone via AppStore. In the limited-access mode, fixed daily limits apply to the transfers in the amount of EUR 50 000 per day per customer. When needed, you can request to change this limit.
Full Access Mode (Rietumu BankWorld at
https://www.rbworld.lv)
Full Access Mode is available via Rietumu BankWorld system and is available upon request and at small extra charge.
- On-line card and account transaction overview;
- On-line account and card statement overview and printout;
- Term deposit portfolio overview;
- Funds transfers between your accounts;
- International wire transfers;
- Currency exchange (at the current rate or by agreement with the dealing desk);
- Ordering credit cards;
- Opening of term deposit accounts;
- Opening of new current accounts;
- Secure on-line contact with the bank.
Transaction Limits for Full Access
The following limits are set out as default ones in the system:
- Maximum transaction amount EUR 50,000 or equivalent
- Maximum daily transaction volume for one account EUR 200,000 or equivalent
- Maximum daily transaction volume for all accounts (if a customer has more than one account) EUR 300,000 or equivalent
When needed, you can request that the bank changes these limits: please use the BankWorld option "Limits".
Digital Certificate Renewal
Rietumu BankWorld system uses digital certificates as reliable security and remote authentication instrument.
Please note that the validity term of a digital certificate is five years after its issue. After its expiration date you will no longer be able to use it with the system. The Bank will notify you in advance through BankWorld about the expiry of your certificate and will offer you to renew your certificate.
To avoid delays, make sure you renew the certificate before it is expired.
Business Hours and Service Availability: iRietumu daily, 24/7
- Funds transfers between own accounts (card accounts, investment, current) are accepted and executed in real-time, 24/7 with following exception: due to banking end of day procedures, instructions received from 21:00 to 01:00 will be queued and executed automatically by the process completion;
- Foreign Currency Exchange: instructions accepted 24/7. Execution of orders of up to EUR 5 000 – is taking place in real-time, above EUR 5000 EUR – after acceptance of the dealing desk (business days, from 9:00 to 18:00)

Rietumu BankWorld system enables customer access to the system and the usage of all its functions. Please note, that your orders and requests are processed only within the bank's business hours. Here is the list of services and respective business times:
- Payment orders: weekdays, from 8:30 to 18:30
- Foreign exchange operations: weekdays, from 9:00 to 18:00
- Term deposit account opening and term deposit placement: weekdays from 9:00 to 18:00
- Customer support (support by telephone, processing of messages and requests): weekdays from 8:30 to 18:30
- Processing of Generic Orders: weekdays from 9:00 to 18:00
- Processing of SWIFT document copy orders from 9:00 to 20:00
- Processing of payment order copy orders: weekdays from 8:30 to 18:30
- Processing of payment amendment, cancellation orders and limit orders (sent in using the system's respective functions): weekdays from 8:30 to 18:30
We would appreciate if you consider this information when estimating the bank's response time in respect to your payment orders or inquiries.
Please note that the mentioned time is Latvian local time (7h ahead of New York time, 1h ahead of Paris or Berlin time, 7h behind Tokyo time).
