You can fill in the forms right in the PDF document on the screen and then print out final document ready for signing; If characters that you're typing in appear scrambled or incorrect, please update your Acrobat Reader to the latest version;- When applying by post, you will need to certify your signature(s) in "Signature and Seal Sample Card" as well as your passport copy with Apostille;
- When visiting Rietumu Bank in Riga, certification will be done at our office. Just make sure to have a valid passport with you;

| Step 2: Add certified corporate and identity documents |
- Please, ensure that full set of corporate documentation is certified with Apostille;
- If applying by post, please enclose certified and Apostilled copy(-ies) of the passport(s) of the account signatory(-ies).

| Step 3: Pre-approval |
For pre-approval of your application, please fax the documents to +371 67020562 or e-mail scanned copies to info@rietumu.lv with your contact details;
According to our Know-Your-Customer policy, we may ask you to provide documentation on the origin of the funds as well as supporting documentation of declared nature of your business and account transactions, e.g. description of products or services provided, key customers & suppliers, actual place of business, related financial documentation, etc. Failure to provide this information may result in rejection of your account application. We reserve the right to refuse any account application without further explanation. |

NB! If you would like to open with Rietumu Bank a corporate account of a US company, please pay attention to the requirements for corporate accounts of companies registered in the USA.

| Step 5: Activation |
When we receive original documentation, your account application will be forwarded for approval.
Approval takes from 1 to 3 business days. If your application is approved, you will receive your IBAN banking details and you can proceed with the initial transfer (in any major currency).
- Account opening fee of €100 will be charged from the initial transfer into your account;
As soon as account is paid, we will send the Banking Package containing all necessary information for operating the account.
We use courier mail (TNT or DHL Worldwide) for worldwide shipping of the documents. Shipping fee depends on the destination and usually does not exceed € 60. |
