Charge Cards

Customers who have opened a Term Deposit with a term of more than one year with Rietumu Bank can obtain an interest-free MasterCard, VISA Gold or Platinum card.

Minimum deposit amount to receive interest-free card:

	USD	EUR
Gold Cards	70 000	50 000

The credit limit depends on the deposit amount: A maximum interest-free credit limit for Gold and Platinum cards is set at 25% of the deposit amount, but no more than 50 000 EUR or 70 000 USD.

Interest-free credit limit repayment is due one month prior to the deposit maturity date.

Use of credit limit

Credit limits need to be repaid monthly: Simply by transferring or depositing the required amount, which covers the outstanding amount as per end of the previous month, into the card account before the end of the current month.

For example, if you have a credit limit of USD 50 000 and at the end of February you spent USD 10 000 of this amount, then you need to to transfer or deposit USD 10 000 into your card account by 31 March.

You can easily transfer or deposit this amount in parts. Having transferred or deposited the required amount into your card account, you can continue using your credit limit in full (USD 50 000).

Provided that the Customer paid off the balance from the end of the previous month in full, no interest rate for the credit limit amount applies.
