First Rietumu Banka was audited in 1994 on its own initiative.
Starting from 1995, an annual audit by one of the largest international audit companies is obligatory for all Latvian commercial banks.
In accordance with the Law of the Latvian Republic "On Credit Institutions", Rietumu Bank releases a full text of Independent Auditor's Report on the results of annual examination of the Bank's activity.
