Know Your Customer
The customer policy of Rietumu Bank is based on principles of partnership: if we know and understand our customers, they know and understand the Bank.
Rietumu Bank’s activity is aimed at increase of security of its customer’s transactions. Know Your Customer Policy allows the Bank to prevent fraudulence and other illegal acts since it includes understanding business activity and transactions of Bank’s customers.
In order to maintain trust between the Bank and its customers, the latter must be confident, that the Bank cares about their assets and security. In its turn, it may be implemented only if customers and the Bank know each other very well. If the Bank is aware of the nature of its customer’s transactions, it will always be capable to protect its customers’ interests.
